The Rosebox

The Rosebox is a wood and amethyst resin lidded box. This rustic beauty is crafted from pioneer era, old growth cedar fence boards, repurposed from a local farm.  Complimenting the cedar are peek-a-boo windows, ranging from rose red to amethyst purple. The base is crafted from spalted maple. The cedar lid is from the same fence board with a spalted maple button top to match the base. This piece is not overly-finished, to keep that rustic mystique.  We left some of the centuries old patina to remind us that no matter how old something is, there is beauty and usefulness underneath.  This box would pair well in a farmhouse motif or your weekend cabin.
