Untethered is a colorful, whimsical art piece bound to brighten up any room.  This piece is a sharp departure from all my other works. It presents three balloons as they travel across a cloudy sky.  For me they are a symbol of freedom, born from letting go. Leaving the past behind you. From releasing the strings that hold you back. Liberating your fears and letting the winds carry you where they may with a desire for an ascension to greater heights. 

This dynamic piece can be displayed as a stand alone sculpture, or hung on a wall.  Placed in front of a bright window, the feeling and mood of this art changes dynamically through the day. Watch as the clouds move across the sky and the various colors and shadows develop.   The back of the frame includes slots to hang on a wall.  

Created using primarily resin, but also other different medias.  The front art piece is a textured, almost 3D finish.  Enclosed in a handcrafted Cherry-wood frame with a dipped-in-the-clouds finish.   

This piece includes an engraved brass plaque with the title; serial number; date; and signature of the artist.
